Adjacent Routes 12m. Climb the thin crack in a shallow corner (awkward wires) then layback up the easier continuation corner. The route stays a bit greasy long after the rain has stopped. USER COMMENTS
Found this much harder than Queen and Country, only once I found the right combinations of foot moves did I get past that wet pocket on the back face!!
I didn’t rate the wires much and despite almost drought conditions, the pocket was still damp!
A lovely start to the evening.
Not that good wires. The grit is so soft there and seems quite eroded. I wouldn't really trust the placements higher in the initial corner crack.
The higher part of the 1st crack was the only place I could get a nut in more than halfway, and that was a 1. Nice climb with some useful hidden holds. |
