12m. Move easily up to a block ledge at the start of the zigzag crack. Well protected moves up the initial crack lead to a committing traverse left on hollow but good holds, pull into the continuation crack and good wires then finish slightly leftwards up easier ground. USER COMMENTS
Failed on this, partly due to body odour and failing light. Felt committing.
watched climbing partner take a large whipper on on this one, hence the handy nut wedged in place for anyone else attempting! all credit he got straight back on and topped out!
felt easy climbing. but the upper crack was hard to arrange decent gear in. hvs 5a sounds right.
I climbed this route just before the rockfax guide came out, the old guide gave it VS 4a, which i thought was a bit off the mark.
Fairly straightforward if you can keep a steady head, but apparently someone decked out later in the day, so care is definately required |
