15m. The desperate lower wall is climbed using small side pulls and tenacity to a good hold by the second bolt. Easier, above.
FA Gary Gibson 14.5.88 at E5, re-climbed by John Moulding, 3.8.89, after the loss of a large flake hold.

Rob Mirfin has added a stunning new line up the blank wall to the right of The Rivals. The route is called "Stratospheres" and weighs in at 8b, the third route of this grade at Dinbren in as many months. Rob reckons its worth thee stars.

This has been rebolted. Great climbing, probably 7c and worth a couple of stars. The 8b to the right is called El Zapatistas not Stratospheres

I managed to redpoint this pretty quickly on Sat - don't know if holds have come off between second and third bolts but felt hard up to the third - easy after that. Sunday i watched as a bloke ripped the first lefthand incut crimp right off, he decked but bounced well - the new sequence is definately harder so maybe it needs gluing or an upgrade.

I played on El Zapatistas yesterday - Wow! Impressively fingery - limit stuff even going from bolt to bolt! Waaaaaay outa my league!

Did this yesterday with lx we both reckon 7c+ is about right, big moves, powerful and a good route too.
Robert Mirfin - 25/Mar/11

Yeah, I ended up doing it again before we left without the hold - you´re probably right on the grade
