30m. A fine route of great stature that takes the left-hand side of the face. From 3m left of the trees, move up a faint groove to a peg, before moving up right to a narrow vegetated ledge. Move left and head directly up to a peg. Above this a balancy sequence accesses a break and a rest. Fingery and reachy moves up the next section of the face (peg and 2 threads) gain a wide horizontal break. Finish direct. USER COMMENTS
Resin bolt belay added to top of route.
Another superb wall climb. The new start adds a bit of spice, it feels a bit more reachy and a tad more pumpy than its neighbors but not much harder than This Won't Hurt.
Now fully bolted at 7b. Still dusty but a quality route.
Climbed T.S.S. yesterday, what a shame a brilliant climb has been reduced to a forgettable, not so good 7b sport climb. Bolting this climb really has robbed anyone seeking the full-on and memorable experience it no-doubt once gave.
Completely disagree having done it many times trad. and when bolted. They are the same climb with different gear. The climbing has not changed, just the ethic. |
