18m. A thin crack in a shallow groove leads to a ledge on The Giant's Staircase (possible belay). Climb up left to a ledge then lean back rightwards to enter the spectacular, but short-lived, jamming crack. Once round the roof (it is best to get your left hand in the highest jam) finish easily. A real battle for most.

Fantastic route, another requiring "traditional skills" lost to some of the namby pamby limestone bolt clippers and boulderers of today (not a jibe aimed at Gareth) Get on it 3 *
