18m. The rounded arete used to provide a good little route, sadly the birch tree at the base is smothering it. Approach the rib via a wide diagonal crack. Above this there is one fierce pull (small wire) before it eases to fine climbing up the rib. USER COMMENTS
The tree gets in the way. Easy 5c move with the tree, hard 5c move without it. The top is much more enjoyable especially if you break through the greenary into the sunlight.
Tree has now been chopped back, revealing a great route. A well-protected fingery crux move is followed by a romp between breaks to the top.
Lovely route, fun climbing from the start. I couldn't get a small wire in, but there is solid gear, if you own it.
