30m. Good climbing featuring a steep upper third on superb rock. After a dirty start up a shallow groove, relatively easy climbing leads to the final steepening. The bolts are spaced on the lower section. USER COMMENTS
Possibly the best route on the wall. Slightly bold start then steep, sustained and excellant finish. Also one of the hardest on the wall, maybe 7a+.
The hardest and best route on Red Wall with a very pumpy top 30ft. In desperate need of a bolt before and after the first bolt though.
A very good pitch with an excellent, tricky and pumpy finale. Definately worth 2 stars
I did this the other day having not done it for a few years and was very impressed, as I was originally, of how good it was. Straightforward climbing leads to a steep and brilliant climax. The lower bit to the rest spot is about 6b+ ish, maybe easier and thereafter steep but relatively OK. The new bolts at the bottom help (thanks Lee) and the route was in spick and span condition. A great 7a ( I thought) and thoroughly worth three stars in my view. GG |
