A nice 'airy' climb with good protection along the way
Cracking little climb on perfect rock. It's more like V.Diff though.
Found Severe to be about the right grade certainly not over graded. Protection not very good in my opinion, although there are quite a few options and no pieces after bottom 1/3 of climb which I would call bomber.....
A good climb, nice moves and finishes in a tree, what more can you ask for? Lots of gear although it's not all perfect.

Excellent route, quite deceptive from below (steeper than it looks higher up). Finshes in a tree, which is always a treat.
I thought this was a hidden gem! Some nice moves. I didn't find much gear, kept wishing I had a size 1/2 friend, or an extra size 1. There were a few nuts, but always pointing the wrong way in my opinion, although I managed to oppose a couple.
This is an excellent route, welcome and unusually 'open' climbing for the grade hereabouts.
Great route - the climbing's not hard but the gear's pretty sketchy in my opinion; it takes some commitment!
High step at the midway point is not easy for the shorter leader. Combined with the relatively tricky gear I wouldn't say this wasn't a severe lead for a novice. Very nice climb regardless of those points though. |
