18m. Devious climbing up the diagonal cracks in the wall. A good jamming crack is climbed to its end. Traverse the continuation leftwards until it is possible to step up and follow another crack back to the right. The finish lies up the daunting wide crack and is a little easier than it appears from below. USER COMMENTS
You might add it is strenous and sustained.
A good route, slightly spoilt by remains of various birds nests & dirt. I found the wide crack a little *harder* than it appeared from below! A pumpy 5b?
Yes, it wasn't quite the warm up I was looking for. Quite sustain with a hardish move after what is a long route really with the zig zag line it takes...Good though.
quality jams in exposed position but very sustained. couple of rests but good holds spoilt by nests. scary when on the route, excellent once at the top!
More technical and certainly more sustained than Suicide Wall. Very pumpy and awkward with no good rest places. I also sorted one of the (empty) bird's nests out as they both get in the way of good holds (it's on the tree / ground below and some of it was attached to me when I finished!) so I think the route would be off-limits in the breeding season.
Quite sustained and technical route with no good resting points. The traverses (4-5m) need good gear for the safety of the second. Not particularly enjoyable, at least for me. |
