Splitting Finger Crack

Adjacent Routes << Short Trip < Lay Me Back | Pinfold Left-Hand > Pinfold Right-Hand >>
An easy first pitch gains the exposed second pitch which you will remember for quite some time.
1) 5a, 12m. Tackle the short steep crack then move up easily to the crawl terrace, traverse right along this passing a narrow section and belay just after this on small wires.
2) 5b, 12m. Move back left onto the narrows then make a challenging move upwards in a very exposed position to reach a line of flaky holds in a shallow groove leading leftwards to the top. FA. Stuart Cathcart, Tom Curtis 16.6.79

Top pitch is one balancy move to start, then its quite staightforward to the top.
