12m. The angular rift is more of groove and is awkward to enter - try laybacking facing right. Once established it eases a little.

Excellent line, good climbing.
Still Waiting - 03/Dec/03

Rather poorly protected? The crux layback entry takes goodness knows how many cam sizes! Every sequence above seems easier than the last and all have good pro.
Steve C - 28/Nov/04

Surely this should be HS 4b? If you have cams it is not poorly protected.
C.E. Moreton - 14/Feb/05

Awkward to enter the chimney, but i didnt find it poorly protected. VS4c felt about right to me
Shaun Walby - 20/Feb/05

I must have missed the 'poorly protected where it counts' part. On the contrary, extremely well protected.
Liz in Sheffield - 11/Oct/05

Nice moves and space for plenty of body parts in the crack, good view of the mountain rescue operation that was taking place below (January sometime)
Iggy_B - 13/Mar/06

Take some cams...
"It's a crack, won't be needing them"
Definitely only HS and only just that. Sorry.
Trouble is, lots of people won't vote to downgrade because it takes something away from their achievement
John Sellars - 13/Jun/06

Absolutely not VS 4C - compare with something like Hell crack to spot the difference.

Pretty much a well protected HS one move wonder.
