A very good pitch from start to finish. The technical wall and pleasant groove culminate in a final pull onto the headwall using a vertical runnel. USER COMMENTS
very tough start at the grade. The rest is pleasant and low in the grade though!

Hollow block now appears to be cemented in place. A good contrasting route.
the hollow block always was glued in (i,e. I rienforced this when I bolted the route even though I couldn't get it to move).
The start on this route is quite sapping. A determined approach is best. Once onto the intitial ledge the climbing above is still requires careful attention but it is good.
Nice varied route. Tough for the grade due to the start. The 'Hollow' block seemed fine when i was hanging from it!
I found the move around the 3rd bolt desperate. Made it - just! Good route. Save some muscle power for the last bit too ... |
