A largely-ignored lead because of a reputation for seriousness, and the far-too-convenient top-rope set up. In fact, it can be protected by the cunning use of runners in pockets.

Cunning and some (ahem) older style gear provides "some" protection.

Actually I made a runner out of dowel to exactly fit the shothole, Jack said it was cheating, but I was leading in boots at the time :-)

If someone explains where the 'hexes' go il buy em a pint! I have done it and since looked at the wall- not the foggiest where hexes would go...
