18m. A superb introduction to the delights of the east coast, and on immaculate rock throughout. From the bottom of the chain, traverse rightwards along the break, all the way around the pointed headland, to finish on a ledge just above sea level. Not in current guidebook.

What a great route, loved it! My second ever DWS and did it twice in a row, in fact there was a stream of us following each other round. Nice crux in the middle with small holds, then it gets steeper with good jugs.
agree with above - nice easy introduction to DWS, simple crimpy crux leading to bigger holds around the arete
A lovely warm up or something for a 1st DWS. I found the step off at the end to be the dodgiest bit! |
