Start in the pit. After the slippery start, this gives great, sustained crack-climbing on knobbly jams. Not too polished, not too desperate and entertaining for spectators. USER COMMENTS
Although the first ten feet or so can be a bit damp and slippery, it's and excellent exercise in crack climbing. Not too polished, not too desperate, not too bad for spectators.
wait until the cave system floods and then strat from a moored boat - misses out the polished section and is a damned good laugh
Did 4 Stoney E2s today and this was the hardest. The start is stiff and you don't get a proper rest for quite a way ... still a good route though. |
