A well-travelled line with some impressive climbing on the second pitch. The route climbs the vertical face overlooking the gully between Needle and Raven Buttress. Start at a belay on a ramp, above a 2m high mossy wall, beneath a small tree at 5m.
1) 4b, 10m. Move past the tree and take the short crack above to a slab that leads to a tree and belay.
2) 4a, 14m. From a flake, climb up left to the overhung line leading back rightwards to the top. Not in current guidebook.
This route is a real gem and a Dewerstone classic. From th notch at its top you can immediately go on to do a pleasant V Diff - Raven Face - right to the top of the Uppper Buttress.
Definate classic climb I took a group of kids up this rock they loved it and i loved it too the V Diff at the top is nice too.
