The easiest line on the wall, but still solid at the grade. Start as for Cabbage, or harder and more directly, up the wall to the right to gain the hanging groove. The last heave into the groove is hard, but once established you can bridge out for a breather. Finish straight up. USER COMMENTS
excellent climb possibly better than cabbage crack that gets done loads more often
Hard to pull into the grove for the short.
quite pumpy to reach the groove but once inside and bridged out you get a well earnt breather and plenty of kit. the climbing is steady here on. the single crux move is a rockover into the bottom of the groove, i dont think height plays any significant part
This should be described with the independent (direct) start leading up to the right of the lower roof on Cabbage. Done this way, and without going into or placing gear in Cabbage it is probably worth E4. |
