This route has a very loose large tufa, and was the scene of a spectacular catch when i pulled off a large football sized hold.I was unable to remove the Tufa (too busy at the crag),contact Steve at Glaros bar to see if this route is now ok.
I think you will find that the aforementioned tufa has now been removed, since it came crashing down to the ground last week after a French climber pulled the whole thing off whilst on the lead. Fortunately there were only five people at the crag and nobody was sat underneath, (unlike the following day when a similar incident could well have wiped out half a dozen or more people!)
maximuss is easy, max 7a.and is a very good rest around a belay.
Not sure about 7a for the top bit, but agree with 7b+ for the whole thing. |
