Two pitches. Start up the left-hand side of the waterfall and belay under a rock. Start up a pillar (can be avoided) and continue up to a belay at a tree 15m below the road. Continue up to the road for the descent, or walk down a snow gully to the right of the waterfall. USER COMMENTS
A very easy route more like WI2 than WI3 at end of March 2006. A good route for exiting the gorge after doing other climbs. The first pitch is easily soloable.
First pitch is very easy and can get banked out in heavy snow. In 2009 the second pitch was short and up to the left between rock buttresses. In 2010 the ice to the right had formed and offered much more and better climbing. |
