Route Grade Votings
Adjacent Routes This awesome roof problem starts from a standing position on the sloping shelf right at the back. Huge reaches between powerful side-pulls lead to the lip and a final pull-over. Gulp. USER COMMENTS
Tricky one to grade since its so reach dependent. Ryan (lanky) did it in a session, gave it V10, then lapped it. Gareth Parry (average height) couldn't touch it, said it felt at least V12 for him. How did you guys figure on V11? I doubt you repeated it so you must be guessing!
I hit the lip loads with CJD but think i'm just to much of a short arse.I think it's v10 come on we can't have easy 8a's at the stone now can we. Ryan got it right with the grade, he is the only one to have climbed it so he grades it RIGHT
What is a powerful sidepull? Is this very different from a normal one?
Repeated rapidly yesterday by Irish Si, he reckoned soft 8a and scotched most people's reach excuse by having a normal reach! |
