The bolts were changed some time ago and the clips are fine. A small hold that came off at the start makes it harder.
'Never to look back' is a very good climb and definitely worth 2 stars. As for the grade.. I've on-sighted loads of 7B's and found it hard when I on-sighted it - definitely 7B in my books.
Definitely worth 7b. Pulled a couple bits of rock off the bottom, but the upper section is fantastic. Well worth doing.
PS Forgot to mention that there is a ground nesting bird very close to the approach path, just down from the steepest section with a bunch of very young chicks in it. Only saw it on the way back down, but worth bearing in mind if you are heading up there.
Regeared with stainless bolts and a new rope guiding bolt at the bottom. |
