<< Seventy One White Mice < The Eye of Faith | Elliott's Buttress Direct > Jungle Arete >>
Climb to the roof, move right, then stretch for the next break. Shuffle left then head directly up the easier wall. The described line avoids the old crux, the direct connection to Elliott's.
FA. Gary Gibson 1981
After the early move right, I followed the rail left to its end, moving up to the next break using the arete for my left hand.
There is interest moving back right and up, also below the top where the holds are not quite as good as they look from below. Care required with ropes to reduce drag, which I failed to do well, leading to a bit of a heave at the top.
Good route, worth a star.
