I did this recently because it was one of the only things on this end of North I hadn't done and it is in the old Froggatt guide, the fact that it isn't in the new definitive is a testament to how average and eliminate this is. You are close to holds on both Cranberry Crack and the Chant, the moves may be 6a for the short but felt 5c and only 2 of them, the gear is also good a 1 and a 0.5 cam by your waiste on the first hard move and a little lower on the second.
Only E1 but probably worth 6a but an easy 6a at that included for completeness i guess. 2 nice moves if you where blinkers.
i like this route is an easy confidence boost pulling on the feature and undercut to a long reach but nothing major
Solid 6a using small crimps if you can't reach from the good footholds or span from the undercut. |
