8m. Climb the slab to the large ledge then ascend the large block by embracing both aretes (long arms helpful!) with a final balancy long reach move for the top mantel. USER COMMENTS
Absolute world class route,good effort Mr king - i really struggled with the top section (nails essential crux sequence) of this route and nearly had to call for a top rope rescue!
And that, children, shows what can go horribly wrong when you have the so-called first ascentionist of this silly route staying at your house, and you forget to log-out of the UKC site.
Actually it's a nice enough routelet, soloed by everyone & his/her dog ages ago (27.9.96 in my case, so my diary says, possibly the 1000th ascent) |
