How does this get E1 5b ? It's easier than 3PS and not as harrowing.

Never E1. Maybe only VS 5a even, soloed it in trainers when I'd only been climbing a few weeks, and I don't claim to be any great shakes technically

I used to solo this regularly in the eighties when it was graded VS 5b. Whether it is 5a or 5b is open to debate, the majority on here voting for 5a. I don't feel strongly either way, but it is definitely not E1.
