A direct line up the green streak and then right over the bulge to a lower-off. Good climbing.
Incandescent Courage, E6 6a - The original route here was a direct start to The Max Works taking a line left of Max to the Wall.
FA. Gary Gibson 1985 using bolts on the right. New bolts shortly after.
FA. (IC) Richard Davies (solo after practice) 1986

Bolted to give a 7a+ and avoid the hassle of gear on right shared with Max A Million on first ascent.
Gary - 05/Aug/00

a very good 7a+ or do i climb too much in cheedale
gareth - 19/Jul/01

I think this is a really good route, which feels easy when you know how.
Scouse D - 04/Jul/05

Worth 2 stars not just because it was my first 7a+. Really good crux moves and not that easy once you're through them.
Andrew Barker - 12/Sep/06

Very good route with a short, bouldery crux, but failry sustained the whole way.
Dave Johnson - 22/Jun/09

Good moves, but I found the crux to be clipping the third bolt, with a nasty fall if fluffed. Took away a star for me!
Roland O'Leary - 05/May/11
