14m. Back and foot the obvious and awkward box shaped cleft then enter the excellent steep jamming crack above and left. They can be climbed seperatly - but why?

If rockfax has a symbol for polished rock then square chimney should get one. Take care not to kick your gear out when your foot slips!

Never a VS but good value for the unsuspecting. I no longer hold the record for the slowest ascent.

I can't be VS - I managed it in my trainers. The chimney at the bottom sure is polished and akward though.

This is a nice route. The chimney is very shiny and pretty hard to climb elegantly but the top half is a lovely jaunt.
