There's nothing 4b about this. Definitely airy for a HVD 4a (which is what it should be), but the exposed moves are on fantastic holds. If you want Severe, then go next door to Pinnacle Flake which has a darned awkward early section.
Surely only a VD like graded in yorks grit. Its got ace gear all the way (without freinds) and massive holds. nice route but a little over rated?
The lower section has some awkward moves with not much for your hands and with the gear at your feet; it felt decidedly Severe to me. |
