12m. Pass the ‘goblin's eyes' with difficulty and no gear, then shuffle left and crawl into the final wide crack - all awkward. For years this was one of the VDiffs that gave the crag its reputation. USER COMMENTS
HS 4c is a strange grade to give this route. It gets P2 in the current yorkshire guide because there is limited gear getting past the eyes and starting the crawl. HS 4c would imply 4c moves with bomber protection, which this climb definitely doesn't have. |
