8m. From the centre of the slab trend left by neat footwork to climb the shallow groove set in the arete. USER COMMENTS
Pleasant although shortlived. MVS and possibly 4b, the mantleshelf can be avoided by use of the "slug-wobble" technique.
Is the 4b at the bottom? The top was fairly straightforward. Worth a star.
The new direct start up the slab arete in the BMC guide is good (bold VS climbing from a crux start). The mantle is hard if taken direct but is much more easily overcome with some lateral thinking. The lower slab feels bold until you find why its not! |
