16m. A venerable classic with the polish to prove it. Climb the very slippery crack on the left (hard - many fail here) to access the chockstone and a stance. Exit up the traditional left-hand cleft to an iron bar belay which is more like proper VDiff. USER COMMENTS
The right band finish is significantly harder and warrants inclusion as a separate route. Somewhere around HS/VS 4b/c I'd say 9whereas the left hand version is more like HVD 4a.
I've found the root on the left towards the suspicious bar is as it says in other guides a VD. Haven't tackled the other route commonly known as a Sev, maybe tomorrow I shall have a go. |
