A great climb on perfect rock which is one of the best sport routes in the Dale. The move off a pocket, above the bulge, proves to be a stopper for some, especially those who are a little on the short side. A wire or two might help on the final section. USER COMMENTS
Re-equipped by someone with 4 bolts matching the original placments.
A good 7a+, maybe easier with a bit of beta.
And how tall is Lee!!!
harder than daylight robbery.
7a+ and a bit tougher if you cant reach the hold above bulge off the pocket
Super climbing that's both technical and exciting. Well worth 7b if you're less than 6ft and cannot make the large span on the crux.
Seems like 7b to me. Run out at the top
With the big rest after the bulge it just isn't sustained enough to be 7b.
It's hard 7a+ even if your under 6ft, just get your feet higher to make the reach. The big rest before the last trickyish moves mean it's not sustained enough to warrant 7b.
Definately Fr7b for anyone at 5 10 or less
Definitely 7b. Felt as hard as blockhead!
Seemed like hard 7a+, no more. I can't understand how this can be as hard as Blockhead which is top end 7b. The two hard bits just require good beta - I'm about 5'9 and didn't find it reachy at all, just had to use small holds. |
