18m. Good friction climbing. Start up the shrubby groove then shuffle out right to the centre of the hanging slab. Head up this with the final section proving quite testing on rubber and nerve.

excellent route. would definately get 3 stars in the peak and probably E2, however the grade is spot on

An excellent slab, and well-loved - certainly not just 1*.

@Luke: Always amused by the defensiveness of Yorkshire folk about the grit, and I can understand why they have issues. If you haven't done it, go and do Elegy, which is an E2*** slab in the Peak. It's a lot harder, and a lot better than The Padder.
