8m. The desperate leaning wall of the gully is climbed using a series of shallow undercut finger-flakes. Finish up the arete.
FA. Ian Dunn 1978. Named after Chris Shorter's tumble from the last move when a hold snapped. Fortunately (!) he landed on his sister who slept below.

USER COMMENTS

I have always assumed that I was the "Peeler". On an attempt, before the 1st ascent, I snapped one of the brittle flakes just as I was reaching for the top with my other hand. I fell the full height of the route and landed on my sister who was sleeping in the Sun on the boulder below; she was a little surprised!
