Beware - my second found that the chockstone moves alarmingly. Otherwise a delightful old-fashioned climb
I'd strongly advise people to avoid this climb for the moment. The chockstone moves and the chimney is flared. If it came out with a climber attached the consequencies would not be good.
Will the chockstone come out of its own accord SteveC? I did find it a hinderance as it forces you out and round instead of continuing to squrim up it. It only wobbles once you are stood on it and there is a jug behind it to use instead. |
