10m. The bold left arete of the wall, passing a tough overlap, to reach the capstone. An odd off-balance move leads out left then finish direct. Originally graded VS! USER COMMENTS
Uttely desperate if the undercut arete is tackled direct on its rhs. Bold E1 minimum. Voted as top of both technical and adjectival grades but my real views are off the top of both scales.
This is E1 5b in the definitive and is a much better grade for the route
It's E1 5b in the new Burbage, Bamford & Beyond guide. It certainly doesn't look like a VS 4c. |
