60m. A terrific little escapade, traversing all the territory between the East and West Caves, thereafter continuing through the West Cave and back to the beach. Best tackled at about mid-tide, especially for the entry into the West Cave. Start on the Grotto Ledge and wander off westward, with a circular deviation beneath a bizarre, overhead through-cave, to finally arrive in the West Cave. Continue into the cave, and climb diagonally upwards, then drop down a slabby chimney to reach the exit 'window'. USER COMMENTS
Staying low in the cave is possible at low tide and seems more in keeping with the general spirit of things. 6b+ ish. |
