7m. This excellent route is the hardest line on the face. Traverse into the base of the hanging arete, pull onto it with difficulty, and follow it strenuously to the top, where a final crux awaits. USER COMMENTS
Mind the loose rock on top. I very nearly went toppling over backwards when, grappling for a jug, it broke into 3 bits in my hand. Well worth taking a big tide for all the routes on this wall as the rock in general is not too solid in places.
I think I made the route considerably harder a couple of years ago by pulling off the best hold on the mid section. 6C may seem a little stiff now. Good water though. |
