Possibly Ron Fawcett's most forgetable new route. The bulging wall left of Grinning Chimney has little in the way of protection or decnt climbing. Not in current guidebook.

Strenuous;actually fairly well protected - memory hazy (June 1992) but probably Friends 1-2ish below bulge and wires above it; pre-inspected and cleaned (so knew all the placements) then backrope-soloed; climbing not bad; nettles seasonally horrendous; best guess low E5.
