The thin crack left of the big flake gives a pleasant and testing pitch for the grade. Where the crack runs out, step left into another flake and continue to the belay on the left. Commonly used to start the shorter version of the girdle. USER COMMENTS
Did this as the start to the girdle, thought we were on Doggone Groove (VS 4b) hence found it surprisingly hard and scary. Made sense when we realised what it was, felt pretty stiff for VS, but brilliant moves through the crux. |
