8m. The left-hand line in the short wall, passing a shelf, and finishing up a short crack.

cool route and more like 8m.

agreed - 8 metres. Hairy top-out!

Also - a large foothold that i was stood on for the top-out is now no longer there! Shouldn't affect grade.

Good climbing to get onto the slab & a well protected second half. I found the topout into the heather harrowing.

Nasty, nasty, nasty.
Judging by the above comments, someone has poured a barrel of oil down this route recently.
It was SO GREASY all the way up and as the last route of the day, completely different from all the others we did at Bamford.
We'd done from VS to E2 and this was horrible compared to any of the others.
The rock in this area is black so maybe recent rain has caused something to seep over it.
My advice: stay well away.

Don't listen to Richard!!! There's no grease, no oil and no slippery bits.
This is a fine route with committing bouldering moves to start, a fine middle section and a slightly alarming finish. HVS 5b and recommended.
My advice - go and do it!
