35m. (Thin Things) Another bold pitch up the slabby rock below and right of the lower abseil point. The name is pointer to the lack of protection rather than its size. Start just left of a block at the base of the slab. Climb leftwards, up the unprotected slab, to ledges, then straight up past a thin hollow flake to a (rather old) bolt. Step right (tricky) into the upper flake system and climb easier cracks and corners straight up then left to the abseil bolts. USER COMMENTS
The bolt was replaced Spring 2008, just before the guide came out!!
Good climbing but bold and creaky until the bolt is clipped. |
