A quality route with a steep start and a long move to gain the groove just right of Chris's Route. Easier climbing leads rightwards from here to the lower-off. USER COMMENTS
This route is only 8a if you dont use the undercuts out left! otherwise 7c+
It was allways done going out left to the undercuts-I recall a 1st ascent picture of Dave Sarker and he was definately out left on them. Definately 8a going left - maybe harder going direct unless you have small digits which fit the holds!
Do people really avoid using the sidepull/undercut? What an utterly perverse and peculiarly english thing to do! |
