Four Pitch Route
<< Wandering Albatross < Fire forsøk | Riz Raz > Skiløperen >>
85m. A four (or three!) pitch route which offers a slightly easier finish to Fire forsøk.
1) 6-, 35m. As for Fire forsøk taking a mid-pitch belay if you wish to stay true to the route name. The original line took a stance on the arete to the right at the top of this (double) pitch.
2) 5+ 30m. As for Fire forsøk then scramble up rightwards to a stance at the foot of the impressive upper wall.
3) 5+, 20m. Start up the off-width crack then bridge out to the rock spike on the left and climb on top of it. Clip the bolt and do delicate moves up the slab to finish.
FA. Thorbjørn Enevold, Trond Solberg 6.1994. Thorbjørn returned to this piece of rock two years after climbing Fire Forsøk to claim what he thought was a completely new line. Thirteen years later when working on the guide the truth was revealed!
The direct finish on this route was done by me and Johan Sandberg, not Trond Helge Hansen. I'm not sure about the year though... Good fun!:-)

Quite a good route and not a pushover
