28m. A classic Yorkshire E5 with excellent but unnerving climbing. Ascend the grassy ramp and move up to good holds. Once stood on the good holds climb to the main-break via a flake and peg to a bush (bolt and peg above right). Gain a shallow groove on the left which leads to a ledge. Climb over the bulge and then pull the roof to finish up a groove (peg). Lower-off. USER COMMENTS
Magnificent trad climbing - feels bold in places but with enough good gear to stop it being too scary.
About F6c or 6c+. Not all over once you get the peg and huge jug five feet from the lower off....unfortunately.
Wrong grading system Ashley,Its not a sports climb!!
a fantastic climb. definitely E5, certainly didn't feel 6c+ to me!!
An absolutely great climb, wall climbing at its very best. Some of the pegs are certainly showing their age but there is other gear to back them up, can feel solid E5 early in the season when it's still a little dusty. Brilliant. |
