23m. A dramatic pitch through the bulges on the right-hand side of the crag. Follow the line of old and new bolts to the overlap. Move up and climb rightwards past threads to the upper break. Finish direct to lower-off. USER COMMENTS
The retro-bolting posse have been to work on this one in Summer 2005, replacing all the threads and pegs with bolts. I don't agree with this practice, nor do lots of other people, but it's quietly going on seemingly unnoticed.
Are you sure about this Tom? My info was that this had been considered, but not carried out following discussions with other climbers. As far as I know only some of the treads were replaced - with new thread. The old aid bolts were replaced several years ago. |
