easy and pleasant. some loose rocks to the right.
Very nice and quite steep for grade. Better than expected.
This route is about 35-40m (!!) and not 30m as indicated. It was quite annoying to realize it when finally the belay stance turned up and our 60m rope was far beyond the mid-point (we borrowed a 50m from someone else to abseil down).
Don't understand the comment above, we did it on a 60 metre rope and got down easily.
You DO get down from the top on a 60m rope. If the belayer is clipped to the bolt at the belay ledge. The climber lands on the same ledge with a metre or 2 to spare. I have done this twice with 2 different 60m ropes with no problems. |
