The deception is that there are no holds with which to clip the belay chain. Rather spoiled it for me along with the rather large fall (or rather jump) from there.
The lower off's possible if you sketch to the top of the wall left of the chain, when you've done the clip you can then see the proper hold that would have been considerably easier.....
