14m. A fine climb up the clean face just right of where the approach path first meets the crag. Take care with some loose holds on the left towards the top. USER COMMENTS
CRUX IS REACHING SECOND BOLT BUT A CUNNING WIRE CAN BE PLACED IN A THIN FLAKE TO THE LEFT. NEEDS A FEW MORE BOLTS.
Good climbing that is adequately bolted.
You're a whimp MacIntosh!
Took a nice swing from 2nd to last bolt which wasnt clipped....
Best route here by miles. That, and the right hand finish.
how many bolts do you want one every inch?
Sustained at the top. Nice route.
A fine route, with interesting climbing on generally good holds. Did the left hand finish which was solid and good, up the fingery layback.
A nice climb shaded by big trees behind. Me being 16 a bit of a reach to the therd bold but adds to the fun.
Quite a gap between the 2nd & 3rd bolts - if your limit was 6a+ it would be scary
It gets 6b in the new definitive guide - and I added an extra bolt low down because of previous comments. This is the real world, we try our best but sometimes the bolts aren't always exactly where we'd like them to be. No one says a sport route shouldn't get your adrenaline flowing a little bit!
This is a superb route which is spoiled by some poor bolting. Sorry Dave but I'm all for some adrenaline, but not deck out potential while clipping the third bolt. |
