A very difficult E3 and there is a fair bit of 5c. Climbing up the flake/open groove is testing because it is harder than you would think to get solid gear in. There's not much of a rest before the crux traverse right which, if fluffed at the end, would result in quite a 'swoop'. With tired arms, the finish feels tricky too - at least it's safer.
I vaguely remember it feeling a little bold with some technical moves going left, but Ian's summary is spot on. |
